Well enough has happened in the case that never ends to finally say something about it again. It was ruled today by Judge Lisa Munyon that Casey Anthony will have to give her address to the attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, for the purposes of subpoenas. It will not be made public, which is understandable. It is good that Zenaida’s attorneys will finally be able to subpoena the self-perceived princess. Way to go Morgan and Morgan! Of course Casey’s side was worried about her safety, as was their stance for not wanting to be forth coming. My question is…………Who cares? Does anyone really think she’s in danger? Because I don’t. I think this is a matter of self-importance.

Lawyers Win Access To Casey’s Address
Next up, Casey’s former attorney, Jose Baez is writing a book. Yes, we knew this was coming, when they failed to be able to market their princess and get the money they had wanted for that BIG interview that the media refused them. This is just another way to try to cash in from Casey’s camp. I’m not sure that anyone would really buy this, though there may be a few, we can only hope they will see the light. This book is said to be about Jose’s plight in defending his princess, the trials of the trial and defending her, but he will not be claiming his client’s innocence. He will talk about his impressions of the Anthonys. The book will be entitled “Presumed Guilty” and it is set to come out this summer, 1 year after her acquittal.
Now I am totally sure that Jose will not tell the tales of his financial indiscretions during that case, nor the media circus he created, his coziness with Geraldo or any other underhanded stunt he pulled during the course of that case. I know he will not talk about his laziness and violations of court orders, his spinning to the court and the media, etc. I’m sure he will not speak to the report that he took pastries to the jurors and got caught and turned away, from the news story that was there one minute and disappeared the next. I’m also sure that he will not answer to how and why he threw so many innocent people under the bus, knowing it was all a lie, causing their lives to be hell on earth. Lastly, I’m sure he will not answer to his nefarious associations and the trolling of the internet, grasping for a story, any story to save his princess from her own actions…….. Unfortunately that worked out for him, but I’m not interested in reading his ramblings of self-absorption, with probably little or no truth in it. All I can say is I wouldn’t take that book for free. You couldn’t even pay me to read it.

Now for the final update……Casey apparently has offended her church friends that did their best to help her. How? You might ask. By being selfish, hanging out with Jose and putting everyone around her at risk. Now, I personally can see this story being true and if it is, well, while I’m sorry she has hurt those that cared for her, the complaints are typical Casey and if this one is true, then as I’ve said before, she will be in trouble again and then there will be another chapter of “As The Anthonys Turn”……….Stay Tuned!

Not surprised that KC has alienated her church friends as I didn’t think she could pretend to be penitent in front of them for as long as she did. Makes me wonder how much ‘someone’ was paying them to give her room and board – we know Jeremy Lyons gave her a cell phone – but we must remember that he got a huge amount of cash from the JAC for his investigations. Did Baez strike a deal with him or does she have a wealthy benefactor. We can be sure that KC had an alternate place to live lined up when she snuck out of the pastor’s house.

This means that he can violate attorney/client priviledge, because he has been given the okay. Will she profit? They both will, if it sells. The thing is she cannot be tried again, so it doesn’t matter what is revealed, in regards to her guilt and the crime, though I doubt they will go very far on that subject. It does speak to what the Pastor’s wife was upset about.
They will do exactly as they have done in the past, any money she gets will be hidden as an expense. He will do the same and they will continue to appear to be broke for the press. What a scam! The clock is ticking……It is just a matter of time. That bunch will be in trouble again.

I do agree with Jeff on this. I don’t think we should totally scrap the “Sunshine Law”, because it was really designed for government accountability to the public it serves. I do however, think that criminal cases should not be tried by the media. I do believe one case can get too much attention, though there are many that do not get enough and need a little light to shine on them. It is a slippery slope, but that case really needed the gag order enforced to start with. I can remember document dumps that the media would paint as damning, yet, when you read them, they really were bland, nothing damning at all.
We can always rely on the media to sensationalize the facts!

Towards the end it states that Anthony was planning to leave the country in September after her parole ended. This is the first time I have seen this in print – makes you wonder if she would still leave – after all she has no regard for the law whatsoever so why would a subpoena worry her. The only thing is that by accepting the subpoena on her behalf, Mason has guaranteed her presence – wonder if he could be sanctioned if she doesn’t appear? (Something tells me he will find a way around it – he is really cunning…grrrr!!!)
It absolutely does my heart good that she has to appear. I couldn’t agree more about those monster moments. Most especially since we knew the jury wasn’t seeing it. Those really need to be included in that movie. I was pretty uptight for those moments and shouted out at the puter screen myself.

I had flagged 2 articles to post – one stating that she sees Cindy on a regular basis (but not George) and the other where Mason states she has no contact with her mother. Could KC be lying to Mason or perhaps Mason is lying to ‘us’ because of the book he is writing? Then I read Hal’s blog where he quoted them both – hi!
Mason states that she is being funded by lawyers and friends…hmmm…I suspect the so called friends are the ones who donated to her in jail. Also suspect that she has made contact with her mother because of the $500K that Dr. Phil donatated to her fraudation – almost guarantee that Cindy is giving her $$$’s.
I suspect that Mason receives phone calls from her but doesn’t see her in person. Strange that after having KC live with them the Pastor’s wife describes her as selfish while Mason thinks of her as his grand daughter. He stated that KC will not write a book nor make statements until all the lawsuits are over and done with – this could take years and years – during which time someone has to pay for her room & board.
I have also found an old article from OS that states that the book the psychologist did that was very pro Casey. He was asked if he could do one with Casey for her to profit from. He said no, but he would give her counseling. Well, they said no, she’ll do the counseling if you do the book with her. I found that so interesting.

The KC jury took ~ 9 hours to deliberate & failed to ask questions YET the John Edwards jury sweated for 9 DAYS, asked so many questions that the Judge turned ALL the evidence over to them. I applaud them for their due dilligence and restraint on not convicting Edwards because of the aggregious way he treated his (now deceased) wife. There just wasn’t any proof in this case – they can hold their heads up high – unlike Edwards who really should rot in he]].
That was well worth reading. That almost resembled Mason admitting that the whole thing about George was untrue, which we all suspected.
I totally agree about the jurors and the comparison to the Edwards jury. I never advocated the jurors getting hate mail or harrassed in the Anthony case, but to say they didn’t do their jobs and were being politically correct is a nice understatement.
I hope Edwards never enters the political arena again. If he does it will show his sheer arrogance.

I find it interesting that nowhere in that whole gig do either Casey or Mason say that Caylee drowned. In fact Casey mentions her disappearance, while Mason just speaks of her dying. Nor do they say George molested her. They dance a dance. Mason even admits she could have lied to him, but if she did she’s good at it.
Then if you go back to what he said at that conference, he knew nothing about that opening statement and didn’t agree with it. So are they saying she did disappear and was killed in a different manner other than drowning?
During the conference with Jeff Ashton, Mason dropped a teaser by stating that he knew how ♥Caylee♥ died but he wasn’t at liberty to say (or words to that effect.) Personally I think he is just sowing the seeds in readiness for when KC comes out and tells yet another story of how the death occured. We all know that she didn’t drown – this story was concocted for the jury and sadly it worked
I feel that he was just testing the waters to see how much interest the public would have in hearing from KC or maybe he is close to finishing the book that he promised would be out by February this year and he just wanted to whet our appetites. Who knows? He is as much of a consumate liar as his client who now has told everyone (through Piers Morgan) that she is ashamed of her lying yet ironically Mason is trying to get her lying convictions overturned.

You know……..I wonder if this is about his book of Jose’s? Mason announced his first, but it never happened. Jose announced his, then it was reported that she signed over the a/c priv. If that was correct, surely I don’t think he will tell all, but there is definitely no ongoing priv. now, because he is no longer her attorney. What are they up to? If she spilled the truth after these suits and the appeal (which they should definitely not win the appeal, because they just admitted to her lying to police again, both times were captured by the camera), so that is a no win, because of double jeopardy, they could do nothing if she did tell the truth. Now isn’t Jose’s book due out in July, or is it already out? I think Jose’s book is likely going to set the stage, telling just enough to possibly cross the priv. line, but something has to be coming at a later date. They are dancing around Caylee’s death for a reason. If there were no motive, they would stick to the drowning story, though we know that was not true. CNN have stated that neither Mason nor KC received any payments for the Piers Morgan interview but like you I’m sure money was involved somewhere. From memory the Baez book is due out sometime in July so you could be right that Mason is keeping the story alive to support him.

Amazing that they are consistent with her mental health/abuse story, or at least he is. Mason seems to distance from that. Yet, there is no consistency on what happened to Caylee amongst them. Baez is sticking to his story. What he fails to realize is that by making these accusations, without any proof, George could likely sue him, because now it is not just a defense, he’s putting it out there for profit. Lee could do the same, though I somehow doubt he will.
Mason distances from this whole story that Baez has. He doesn’t recomend that others pull a stunt like that without any proof to back it up. Casey spoke of Caylee missing in her interview, while Mason fumbled around and then claimed that no one likely killed her and that he would stick to their theory on that. IMHO they are way too all over the map for any of it to be true.
This is all about profit. The big interview and the movie deals didn’t pan out, so they are hoping that by putting these books out there, they could be best selling and then they may land movie deals. I doubt it.

Baez proves that the nickname Bozo the Clown suited him perfectly. He writes like a giggly schoolgirl and appears to have the mentality of one! Makes me wonder if there really was something ‘dirty’ going on between him and KC – he certainly has bought her story hook line and sinker.

With no jury present she acted like a spoilt brat ordering her copious defense team around like little puppy dogs.

Both he and KC KNEW where ♥Caylee♥ was tossed in the swamp – this fake panic was because her little bones
had been found.
He says KC was frightened of her dad yet when she was asked who she wanted to see she chose him over her mother (because she knew her mother could see right through her lies.)

I had planned on having that post up this weekend, but had company. Today we had thunderstorms all day, so internet wasn’t good. I am well over half way. I have seen the story about the Anthonys receiving $600,000 into their Caylee org for that Dr. Phil interview, but it has also been said by Lippman that they closed it and took the remaining $100,000 in it and donated it between 3 other orgs. I checked it and the link now goes to an error page.

I suspect they closed the fraudation because donations had dried up. Very generous of them to give $100K to other charities BUT that means they kept $500K for themselves. Wise people would have paid off all their debts, invested the rest and lived frugally for many years if they had received 1/2 million bucks – doubt the Anthony’s fall into this category. Wonder how much CA sends KC each week/month?
Methinks CA gave her the ashes necklace to RE-gain control – these 2
women deserve each other – makes me ALMOST feel sorry for George who has been betrayed by his wife – AGAIN!

We have been having the thunderstorms virtually everday now. The mosquitos are becoming a nuissance.
I agree with you on the money, but they messed up because the kind of charities they created prohibit them from spending the money for their personal uses. Supposedly that is why the first one was shut down. It will be interesting to see what, if anything comes of that. Like you, I’d love to know how much Cindy has sent her. I do agree about the necklace.
