Isabel Mercedes Celis, better known as Isa has now been missing for 22 days, so far there seems to be no indication that anyone has any idea where Isa might be. The investigation and searches continue, with the parents, as well as their friends and co-workers doing fundraisers and taking donations to try to help keep the searches going as well as to continue raising awareness. It breaks my heart that Isa has not been found yet, as we all know that in these cases, time is of the essence.
There have been some new developments in the case though. Apparently going on new information that has been gleaned from the investigation, law enforcement called CPS in to take a look. It has been stated that it is customary for CPS to be involved in a missing child’s case, especially when there are siblings. The decision was made that Isa’s siblings should not be around one of the parents, therefore the children have been approved to be in the custody and care of the other parent and another family member. They have not said who the parent is that is not allowed around the children at this time as it is sensitive to the investigation and this is an active and ongoing investigation. There is no information made public that gives any idea what this new information is or which parent is not allowed to be around the children. I’m not going to speculate about this matter, as I would have no idea what I was talking about if I did. What this simply tells me is that the investigation into Isa’s disappearance is progressing, which is a good thing.
It is important to note that Lt. Fabian Pacheo said the following when this announcement was made:
“We’re not eliminating anyone in particular from suspicion or overly casting suspicion on any one individual either,” Pacheco said.
Please continue to pray for her safe return and if she is no longer safe, that she is still found and the truth is revealed. I truly hope she is still alive and well, but time is not on her side. It just depends on what the motive was and what actually happened. God Bless Isa and her family.

We know very little about this Case and therefore I agree it would be Speculation figuring out what could have happened to this precious Child.
Time in this Case and many like it is truly of Essence Isa is such a beautiful Girl and she looks so much like her Mom.
I do believe the Police might already know more than what they are saying and going in the right Direction to find Isa, at least that is my Hope.
I will keep Isa in my Prayers and hope for her save Return or if t hat can’t be done that she is found and brought home.
Miracles still do happen, I do hope with all my Heart there will be a Miracle in this Case.
It is hard sometimes after following so many sad Cases which involve missing Children to be positive but I will try my Best to be positive and hope for a good Outcome, it can happen.
i find that comment about not casting overt supsicion on anyone kinda ironic since its them that told CPS that the kids shouldnt be around one of the parents.
case is starting to remind me of sabrina eisenberg.
Very well said Hilde. I do agree with you. I’m praying for a miracle. Isa is a precious child.
It is an ironic comment Scott, unless, they are still investigating and are not sure of the information developed, in what way it will lead. I guess what I’m trying to say is that this could be a better safe than sorry move, based on what they suspect. On the other hand, you could be right.
This does remind us a bit of that case, in that they seem to be all over the map at times. I hope they solve this crime. They at least haven’t appeared, thus far, to have tunnel vision on this one.
Strange that in all the links there is no mention of ‘where’ or ‘what time of day’ Isabel disappeared – LE really are playing this close to their collective chests as these details are usually revealed. I realize they don’t want to cast aspersions on either of the parents but do question why they thought it necessary to announce that her brothers aren’t allowed to see one of them – this makes me rather uncomfortable.
Jill, All we really know is that they were at a ball game the night before, they put her to bed and she wasn’t there the next morning after her mother was either in route to work, or at work (this is according to the parents, though I do believe they did confirm the ball park the night before and what time the mother arrived at work). She was supposed to have a ball game that morning. They did, at one point say that they believed the broken screen/open window may have been a point of entry for an intruder, so now this is a switch. They had also put out the following video asking for the people in it to come forward, because they were apparently walking passed the house that evening. My apologies I haven’t posted more on this
. It just looked as if they were leaning toward the stranger abduction at first, now they are looking at the inner circle, but this may very well be them covering all of the bases, not knowing what really happened yet. One thing is for sure, they do not appear to have tunnel vision on this one and you are absolutely right that they do appear to be keeping the details close to the vest. I’m very concerned for Isabel, as time is of the essence in these cases.
I pray for a miracle here.
Thanks for the clarification Niecey – I remember seeing that video been shown on Fox but thought I heard that it was taken on another night – not the one that Isabel disappeared (but I could be wrong.)
Like you I’m praying for a miracle
You’re welcome and you could well be right about that video, as I hadn’t heard anymore about the video itself, so thank you for the clarification.
We should keep praying for that miracle.

The above link confirms what we all were thinking – that the father Sergio is the parent who is not allowed to see the boys. I hope they have a really good reason for doing this because sadly his reputation will be tarnished if he is actually innocent.
Continuing to pray for that miracle
There is a little bit more information in this link…

Nancy Grace really does screech during this interview…
http://www.hlntv.com/video/2012/05/15/family-friend-defends-isabel-celis-dad
Thanks Jill! We should continue to pray for that miracle……
Nancy Grace did screech, but she also did something else. The man was talking about CPS and we have learned that CPS in Texas can be a bit over zealous. She talked over him and went right back to the police. How can you get a fair and accurate interview, when you won’t listen to and question what is actually being said?
Excellent observation Niecey – by not allowing her guest to speak about the relevant facts NG deprived the audience of their capability to make up their own minds. This ‘standover’ tactic is becoming very common with many presenters (especially political ones) who just want people to hear their personal view instead of encouraging a fair and balanced debate.
Thanks Jill! Both sides of every issue do it too. I cannot stand that! Let someone speak, then you can debate the issue. They start sounding like cackling hens to me after a while, when they do that.
BTW, I do realize that was not in Texas, but it is in Arizona and the man clearly said that the CPS had a history in that state. I didn’t complete my thought on that one.

Did you guys hear about this, CPS was investigating Isabel’s house in December, months before she dissapered.
Thanks ATM! I hadn’t read that. Wow! I wonder what it was about? I did notice they believe Isa was abducted, but are not sure if she was abducted by a stranger or a person known to the family. They are making me feel as if they think her dad might actually know something more about what happened, without crossing the line of accusing him, like maybe he could be protecting someone. I could be wrong, but this is not looking very good.
Interesting link – thanks ATM. I guess we all knew that there had to be more to this than what we were originally being told especially that Sergio has ‘voluntarily’ agreed not to see the boys. Sadly I agree with Niecey that this doesn’t bode well.
Judge Janine featured this case today. There are rumors swirling that Isable left a message on the wall inside a closet but as yet these are unsubstantiated.
Wow! Interesting Jill. I missed it this weekend. Thanks for watching and sharing. Here is the latest:

Glad to see someone standing up for Sergio – I truly hope that he is not involved.
Me too.

Glad the police are going to re-interview sex offenders – this makes me think they may have ruled out Sergio – at least they haven’t let the case go cold.
Praying for the safe return of Isabel ♥♥♥
I agree Jill and I am also still praying for Isa.
